RIDGEFIELD

Here is a
picture of the whole Rosenthal clan, including
Allan(Pa) and Cheryl(Nana), Dana, Jon and
Ollie(mini Pa), Erica, Jay and Gus, my brother Jeff
and his husband Rich.
Also here is a
picture taken of Arthur, the newest addition to my
Daughter's Dana household.
Allan and Cheryl
have been happily married for 45 years. Allan is a
Sports Podiatrist in Ridgefield, Ct. and Cheryl is
an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Newtown, Ct.
.
Dana is an
executive manager with Google in San Francisco and
Erica is an elementary school teacher and professor
at Champlain College, VT and obtained her Masters
and Doctorate from UVM. They both have wonderful
husbands and we even have a grand pup, a black lab,
Disco, and now another grandpup in Arthur(see
pictures).
Ollie is a
baseball, soccer and basketball player, while Gus
is a ninja, soccer player and cub scout, both are
excellent students.
Dana in her free
time she plays USTA tennis and Erica in her spare
time runs marathons, does paddle boarding and all
of us, Allan, Dana and Erica all do peloton
biking.
The family still
enjoys getting together with HOB's families,
Goldsteins and Mays.
We enjoy each
year going to our place at Smugglers Notch,
Vermont, besides taking frequent visits to
California and Vermont to visit family and into NYC
for shows and Yankee and San Francisco Giant ball
games and his traditional annual return to the US
Open tennis tournament which he goes with fellow
HOB member Mike Goldstein.
Allan just
finished Striking Out Cancer, and thanks to his
colleagues at Danbury Hospital and wife and family.
He is doing well and still practicing Podiatry
although working less, but still enjoys Pickleball,
Peloton, and is known in the Pickleball community
as "Dr. Pickleball" and has lectured and done
multiple podcasts on Pickleball injuries including
lecturing at the National Podiatric Sports Medicine
conference and is a consultant to a pickleball shoe
company.
Allan is
scheduled to return to the Queen's College campus
in May 2024 to partake in a pickleball clinic and
is looking forward to seeing the campus again.
